We all grow up with assumptions about us from family, friends, and even random people on the street.

Coming out can feel like a never-ending task at the best of times but with asexuality and aromanticism being relatively unknown it can be even more difficult for many. Many people avoid it entirely, only 50% of SAAA members are out to immediate family.
