Its Asexuality Awareness Week from oct 20-26th. Celebrate with the CAA by learning more about our identities.
Many people have heard about asexuality and aromantacism but the words are so new to the mainstream LGBTQ2IA+ community. What is it? What is it like to be asexual or aromantic? What’s the difference? What are the demi, grey, and autochoriso identities? How can I be a better ally and include them in my activism?
The CAA is hosting an introduction to Asexuality and Aromantacism and are hosting a question amnesty. All questions are welcome so don’t be embarassed to come with all the queries you can’t ask your friend.
Join us at the Central Library Idea Lab 3-20A (third floor, south end) from 6-7 on Oct 24th for a presentation and Q&A.
This event is open to everyone, this venue is wheelchair accessible and has gender neutral washrooms.
Please RSVP at yycaroaces@gmail.com or if you have questions. You can also RSVP in the facebook event.
